Grief and loss

Who of us has not experienced grief and loss. It's impossible to navigate this life without it. Personal and professional experiences motivated me to focus my clinical experience in this area. 

I am a certified grief counselor. 

As a dispatch supervisor for 6 years and a police officer for 8 years, I'm keenly aware of the unique trauma experienced by first responders. I was on scene early during the tragic attack at Columine High School.

Take no offense but I refer to myself as an OG Lesbian. I came out in 1980, when it wasn't exatly safe, and I have an empathetic and  experienced lens regarding the unique challenges facing LGBTQ+ people.
