Additionally, the unique challenges faced by first responders.
Regardless of how muddy or clear the waters, the pull of the tide, or the still-deep waters, I am here to help.
I bring more than 30 years of unique experience where mental health, education leadership, and law enforcement intersect. I have been a school principal, police officer, and now a therapist.
I have experienced significant grief and loss in my personal life and career. I was a first responder to Columbine HS in 1999, and as a school principal have helped countless families through tragedy. Being of service in these experiences is why I chose to pursue a career in mental health.
I have a master’s degree in education from Regis University, a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health from Adams State University, along with a bachelor’s degree from Alaska Pacific University. I am currently a provisional licensed mental health practitioner in Nebraska.
